KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is getting its own tabletop roleplaying game! The KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! TRPG, or KonoSuba TRPG for short, will be available from Tuesday next week!
Welcome to The Pickle and Daweeb Show, where we roll dice, shuffle cards, and flip tables in the name of manga and anime. This week we’ve got news about an Afro Samurai reprint, a massive Kodansha manga bundle, and a rediscovered Senran Kagura game. Let’s roll for initiative…
Roll Dice in the World of KonoSuba
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is getting its own tabletop roleplaying game, so now you too can die from a heart attack and pull short-skirt wearing gods into a world of adventure (in your imagination).
The book includes a replay section featuring the light novel series author, Natsume Akatsuki, playing the game. It is adapted by Japanese RPG publisher F.E.A.R.
Although Amazon has the Konosube TRPG available for pre-order, and the book was expected to come out in October 2021, I haven’t seen much talk about the game’s system, so I guess that’s not a key selling point. Are you excited about getting to play in the world of KonoSuba? Do you have some predictions about the system? We’d love to hear from you, in the comments below.
Titan Comics Launches Titan Manga Imprint
Need more places making manga for you to enjoy? Of course, we all do! Titan Manga, an imprint of Titan Comics, will launch in July with the first volume of Takashi Okazaki’s Afro Samurai (yes, that one, originally published by Seven Seas), ICv2 reports. The new version, which they’re calling the Director’s Cut, will be remastered and published in a larger, two-volume format. Volume 1 drops July 26th as a 176-page paperback.

Kodansha Manga Bundle Comes to Humble Bundle, Again
Kodansha and Humble Bundle have teamed up to bring you a collection of award-winning manga, in support of the Book Industry Charitable Foundation. The Humble Bundle Manga bundle includes such titles as Space Brothers, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and way too many that feature the word ‘blue’ in the title.
Lost Senran Kagura Game Rediscovered on Tabletop Simulator
Tabletop Simulator (TTS) has an active modding community on Steam, and you can discover all kinds of interesting games just by checking out the TTS Workshop. Discovered among the many mods, models, and tools was this little gem from Marvelous: the Senran Kagura Dice Festival.
As you can tell, this solo game uses 6 dice and lets you do battle between the two ninja clans, the Hanzo Academy and the Hebijo Academy featured in the Senran Kagura franchise. Looking for more, we have Senran Kagura figures available and for pre-order.
