Alongside the newly released trailer, the anime’s production company also announced the show’s opening song, “Non Scenario Etude,” by Sora Amamiya (voiced by Chizuru). Rock duo NAKIGOTO will perform the show’s ending song “204-goshitsu.” Rent-A-Girlfriend’s fifth season will premiere in April 2026. Crunchyroll will stream the anime.

Rent-A-Girlfriend Deets
When Kazuya Kinoshita gets dumped after a one-month-long relationship, he’s apparently so broken that he swears off real romance. But with the void in his heart yearning for companionship, Kazuya decides to try a rental girlfriend service. To his disbelief, his first pseudo-date introduces him to the “perfect girlfriend,” Chizuru Mizuhara. But instead of thanking the Lord for his fortunes, he thinks she’s faker than a TEMU anime figure and leaves a bad review on her work profile.
That spiteful decision became the catalyst for Chizuru to meet Kazuya’s grandmother and trapped the two in a fake relationship. But as Kazuya spends more time with Chizuru and the line between their business and personal lives blurs, he soon finds himself in love with the perfect heroine. But between all the lies and their friends and family matters, can Kazuya conquer Chizuru’s heart?
Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine has serialized Rent-A-Girlfriend since July 2017. Reiji Miyajima writes and illustrates the series, as well as the spin-off Rent-A-Girlfriend-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Hitomishirimasu). Kodansha USA publishes the English version of both series in North America. TMS Entertainment has adapted the manga into four TV anime seasons. The Rent-A-Girlfriend franchise also boasted a crossover smartphone game, Okarishimasu Heroine All-Stars, and a visual novel, Rent-A-Girlfriend: The Horizon and the Girl in the Swimsuit. The series was adapted into a live-action TV drama.
