Ouran High School Host Club is one of those special series that will always hold a place in my heart and so every time they release a new incarnation into the world, I do my best to check it out.
On that note, in a tweet sent out by AVEX Pictures, they announced they will live stream the brand new Ouran High School Host Club musical around the world! Ticket prices vary from region to region and unfortunately, there is no word on if the live streams will include subtitles (look for an update to this article once we can get confirmation one way or the other) nevertheless, with stage musicals of popular manga series rarely being shown outside of Japan (with only a few exceptions), this could still be an excellent chance to check out a brand new version of one of the most beloved shoujo titles of all time.
Avex Pictures proudly hosts the world-wide live stream of the first stage musical adaptation of Ouran High School Host Club🎉

There will be two performances live-streamed (ticket purchasers will be able to review the archive stream as many times as they want for a week afterward). The first performance will be for the Tokyo show which occurs on January 23rd. The Osaka performance will follow this on January 30th.Â
While these performances are unfortunately out of my price range at the moment, I hope that many of you out there take advantage of the opportunity to see something rare and special. It’s my firm hope that if enough of us buy these international streams that they will happen more and more frequently with the quality improving with every attempt.
Originally a manga created by Bisco Hatori, Ouran High School Host Club ran in LaLa magazine from 2002 to 2010 and has been adapted into an anime, a television drama in Japan, a live-action movie, and a visual novel. In the series, the main character is a poor girl named Haruhi Fujioka who earned a scholarship to the prestigious Ouran Academy, which is entirely populated by the children of the wealthy and powerful. After she accidentally breaks a vase, she finds herself indentured to the school’s host club in order to pay back the debt.
