A new world summons a group of eccentric isekai protagonists. Great warriors trade their swords and shields for pencils and notebooks. Though they work to return to their original worlds, they don’t mind the fun and festivities of their school-life world. We’ll see their new classes begin when Isekai Quartet Season 3 premieres sometime in the future.
Kadokawa’s chibi crossover series Isekai Quartet began airing on April 9th, 2019. The series features characters from KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, Overlord, Re:Zero — Starting Life in Another World, Saga of Tanya the Evil, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and The Eminence in Shadow.
Isekai Quartet Cast
Three of the rambunctious isekai protagonists are as follows:
- Aqua — Sora Amamiya (Illustrious in Azur Lane). She is the goddess who sends Kazuma to the other world. She provokes Kazuma by ridiculing the way he died, so he drags her with him to the next world.
- Subaru Natsuki — Yusuke Kobayashi (Dino from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime). Another world summoned this reclusive Japanese guy. His gift and curse allow him to avoid death.
- Cid Kagenou / Shadow — Seiichiro Yamashita (Adventurer B from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?). A powerful chuunibyou isekai protagonist who runs the clandestine Secret Garden organization.

Class is in Session, Isekai Quartet
A mysterious red button appeared in numerous different worlds. Curious isekai protagonists all pushed it and appeared in yet another world. Their lives of action and adventure briefly enter a school-life setting. Now, the likes of Aqua, Tanya, Subaru, and Emilia are classmates who strive to ace the next test.
Things don’t always go to plan. After all, these isekai protagonists have kept their cheat-like abilities. They typically use those powers for talent shows and maybe to break into places. After a series of misadventures — such as a part-time job or two and a school festival — a new transfer student will appear in the classroom. Only by his severe delusions rival his powers. Maybe Rem can sit him down and get him to chill out.
