Omega Strikers is an upcoming free-to-play video game for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X, mobile devices, and Steam. It takes the time-honored title and makes it more action-packed. The developers at Odyssey Interactive saw fit to hire Studio Trigger, known for putting incredible amounts of color and action into every scene of its series and movies. Only it could make beloved anime such as Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. With that talent, Studio Trigger made even a free-to-play soccer game look epic, as seen in the trailer below.
We’ll see if Omega Strikers lives up to the hype Studio Trigger amped up when the game releases on April 27th.
Studio Trigger seemed very happy about how the trailer came out when they sent out a tweet sharing it around.

Odyssey Interactive has a home page with details about the game and links to where you can find it if you want more information about Omega Strikers.
Omega Strikers is, as previously stated, a free-to-play game that acts like a more action-packed version of soccer. Each character has their own unique skills and traits that players can put to use in games. As the trailer shows, there are plenty of waifus to choose from. The maps themselves have their own hazards to work with or around. The game is also available for crossplay across each system, so players on the Xbox can still battle with people on the Nintendo Switch.
This is obviously not the first time Studio Trigger has put its magic to work on an otherwise silly premise. I think we all remember that one time they animated a fight scene in the mad cartoon series The Amazing World of Gumball and made it look like a fight straight from Dragon Ball Z.
If you aren’t following Studio Trigger, you can rectify that by checking out their home page, official Twitter page, and YouTube page.
The J-List shop has a recommendation if you’re looking to expand your extreme soccer series collection. This figure from Bluelock, Yoichi Isagi POP UP PARADE Figure, exudes the ego needed to win.
