Kana has had a run of poor luck in finding a normal office job, and a fateful meeting with a magical girl inspires her to apply elsewhere. We’ll see the rise of a new mahou shoujo when Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. (Kabushiki Gaisha Magilumiere) Season 2 premieres on July 4th, 2026.

Sekka Iwata and Yu Aoki released the original Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. manga series between October 20th, 2021, and July 9th, 2025. Shueisha has since published all eighteen volumes in Shonen Jump+. J.C.Staff’s anime adaptation premiered on October 4th, 2024.
Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. Cast
Three of the bright and shiny magic girls are as follows:
- Kana Sakuragi — Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man). Kana is a college graduate who struggled to find a job until a magical girl agency scouted her.
- Hitomi Koshigaya — Yumiri Hanamori (Chinatsu Hayakawa in My Tiny Senpai). Hitomi is a more experienced magical girl and the first magical girl to work for Magilumiere.
- Iroha Akasaka — Sayumi Watabe (Birmingham from Azur Lane). Iroha is the Deputy Director of the Magic Technology Research Institute and a magical girl.
J.C.Staff maintains a website, a YouTube channel, a TikTok account, and a Twitter (X) account to promote Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. You can find more information about the series and the key visuals at those sites.
Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. is Open for Business
An unknown species of monsters dubbed “Kaii” gradually crept into the human world. A series of technological and magical advancements gave rise to magical girls who might stand against them. The Kaii and magical girls became an everyday part of life. In fact, becoming a magical girl was a perfectly viable career path. Anyone could join one of the more than 500 companies that formed, even without divine providence and reincarnation.
Kana Sakuragi’s string of bad luck during job interviews brought her to her lowest point. She felt her sole redeeming quality was her perfect memory. Even the people who rejected her were impressed by her memorization skills. Kana’s memory comes into play when a Kaii attacks the office building she’s applying to, and a magical girl needs a hand in the fight. She’s able to expertly use a magical tablet that loads and implements the proper ammunition type to slay the Kaii and save the day. Hitomi Koshigaya immediately scouts her for her magical-girl start-up company.
