Yukiya Asagi and Miku Sakura (not that one or that one) are childhood friends. Miku started a confession game a few years back. They must confess their love for one another every day, and the first one to blush loses. Their game has taken a new phase as they mature and develop a genuine interest in one another. We’ll see how their game plays out when I Want to End This Love Game (Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai) premieres sometime in April 2026. The main trailer is region-locked to Japan, but you can also view it on Twitter (X).

I Want to End This Love Game and Play for Real
Miku Sakura abruptly started the “I Love You Game” with her childhood friend, Yukiya Asagi. She began this “game” to hide her own genuine feelings for him. Yukiya took up the challenge and played this confession game with her for the next few years. They continued their daily game even as they entered high school, when their emotions and feelings flared up. Yukiya especially felt it. He quickly became Miku’s chew toy. However, he refused to lie down and merely take it.

Yukiya works hard to look cool. He studies shojo manga series, gets a new haircut, and wears contact lenses to charm Miku into confessing love. However, Miku has her own battle plan in mind, even though she’s already well ahead. She prioritizes skin and hair care, exercises, and now wears a cute high school uniform. Both gamers now land critical hits with neither budging an inch in their “I Love You Game.” Whether they plan for it or not, that game may be coming to an end.
