An overlooked and underappreciated red mage finally takes a stand against the party who belittled his efforts. He quit his party, and his former friends responded with nothing but cheers. As luck would have it, three of his former students are more than happy to welcome him to their ranks. We’ll see just how lucky he gets when I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! (A-Rank Party o Ridatsu Shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyu Shinbu o Mezasu) premieres sometime in January 2025.
Kosuke Unagi and Super Zombie released the original I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! light novel on June 2nd, 2021. Kodansha has since released four volumes in the Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint.
The red mage’s three cute students are as follows:
- Marina — Hana Inami (Kit Fox from Kemono Friends 3). A brash and proud swordmage.
- Silk — Natsumi Kawaida (Seethia from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). A thoughtful ranger and elementalor dark elf.
- Rain — Nene Hieda (KMS Elbe from Azur Lane). A shy priestess and mage.

A Harem Awaits in I Left My A-Rank Party
Yuke Feldio is a highly proficient red mage who does his best to support his A-Rank party. He grows frustrated after five years of continuous derision and unequal pay in the party. Even the party leader — his childhood friend — sees his place in the party as a form of mercy. Yuke angrily leaves his party and even flips them off for good measure. As satisfying as that might have been, red mages like him are often dismissed as little more than weak support units. His solo commission prospects are non-existent. He’ll have to find another party or give up his dreams as an adventurer.
Yuke’s fortunes turn around when he runs into three of his former students. He once taught Marina, Silk, and Rain the basics of being an adventurer and they admired him ever since. They excitedly offer him a place in their party and wave away his concerns about his “useless” role. Their first labyrinth run is a resounding success thanks to Yuke’s preparation skills and magical buffs. The girls continue to work with him to achieve his goal of reaching the end of a famous labyrinth and seeing “the end of the world.”
