Six world-renowned Hololive VTubers have joined the One Piece crew to perform two opening theme songs! Hololive, One Piece Info, and Eiichiro Staff released announcement posts about the upcoming crossover event of the decade. Our digital idols will sing “We Go!” during the edited Fish-Man Island Saga.

The One Piece anime series will be on a five-month hiatus from November 3rd, 2024, to March 30th, 2025. The Special Edited Version — One Piece: Fish-Man Island Saga will feature upgraded animation, sound effects, and audio dubbing. The animators have also condensed the episode count from 57 to 21.
Those changes will also include new recordings of the song “We Go!” featuring our favorite Hololive girls. Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine, and Tsunomaki Watame, with One Piece singing veteran Maki Otsuki, will sing “We Go!” during the February episodes. Fubuki released a comment about her work and offered praise for fan art.
She also provided a comment on the Eiichiro Staff post:
Shirakami Fubuki: This time, I, Shirakami Fubuki, along with Houshou Marine, Tsunomaki Watame, and Maki Otsuki, had the honor of singing “We Go!” for the SPECIAL EDITED VERSION Fish-Man Island Arc.
Maki Otsuki seemed very happy to collaborate with these Hololive talents.
Maki Otsuki: This time, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Hololive members for the first time on “We Go!” I was also thrilled to work with Mao Kuge for the arrangement after a long time! Amid all the cute voices, I appear like a final boss with a bang, so please look forward to it! (Haha)
Watame would also praise that same fan art.
Takanashi Kiara, Hakos Baelz, Kobo Kanaeru, and One Piece singing veteran Hiroshi Kitadani will sing “We Go!” during the March episodes. Kiara released two different social media comments and a more formal comment.
She also provided a comment on the Eiichiro Staff post:
Takanashi Kiara: Kikkerikii! This is Takanashi Kiara from Hololive English -Myth-. I’m commenting on behalf of my companions, Hakos Baelz and Kobo Kanaeru! It feels like a dream to participate in such a wonderful project. This is the first time we three are singing for an anime. So, it marks an incredible milestone for us.
We feel honored to sing alongside the legendary Hiroshi Kitadani in our Hololive English/Hololive Indonesia version. Among the many versions of “We Go!” we hope our Hololive English/Hololive Indonesia version brings joy to everyone! The recording was so much fun, and I can’t wait to hear everyone’s reactions.
Baelz released her own funny comment on social media.
Kobo decided her comment needed to be in two posts.
Hiroshi Kitadani was just as happy to collaborate with Hololive:
Hiroshi Kitadani: After fourteen years of singing this song in various places and situations, I’ve re-recorded it again! And this time, it’s a collaboration with Hololive members!
It features several playful, pop-oriented arrangements while keeping the original energy and vibrancy intact. Enjoy this fresh and nuanced version of “We Go!” to your heart’s content!
