Hololive will hold its first American live event this July 2nd in Los Angeles, CA’s famous YouTube Theater. It’ll prove to be a star-studded event with some of the most famous VTubers to ever grace the internet and capture the hearts of their fans as real anime girls. It’s uncertain if this event will be anything like Hololive Super Expo 2022 (and if it is, I want a giant VTuber statue), but this will be the first Hololive event that happens in the United States.
This will be a momentous occasion for Western VTuber fans, as we get so few attempts to see what Japan typically gets. The only events that spring to mind are Hatsune Miku’s Miku Expo events and Kizuna AI’s performances (Virtual US Tour and Hello, World farewell concert).
A brief trailer will highlight the stars of the event.
Hololive created a promotional home page for its Hololive English 1st Concert Connect the World concert. Information about ticket purchases, dates, times, and the location are found therein, as well as merchandise that some ardent fans are likely to have made sold out by the time this article goes live. For those new to the VTubing scene, VTubers, especially Hololive VTubers, are well-known for their singing talents. And they have released multiple CDs and singles with their songs, all of which are freely available to listen to on YouTube and Spotify.

In addition to these well-known and beloved members of Hololive EN and its various generations, it has recently been announced that three members of Hololive ID, the Indonesian branch, will join in on the fun.
Ayunda Risu, Moona Hoshinova, and Pavolia Reine will be present in some capacity; their mere presence proves that the love and appreciation of VTubers is truly a global phenomenon. These three Indonesian creators are among the most popular VTubers in their country. Indeed, both Risu and Moona are part of Hololive Indonesia’s first wave of talent, both debuted in April 2020.

There’s still time before the show on July 2nd. The venue opens at 6:00 p.m., and the stream starts at 7:00 p.m., both set for PDT.
