Highschool Of The Dead Creator Daisuke Satou Passes Away At 52

Daisuke Satou, a Japanese board game designer, novelist, and manga writer passed away on March 22 at the age of 52 from ischemic heart disease. His immediate family have already held a funeral service, and his younger sister Yuko Shinmyo was the chief mourner.

He was known for the publication of the alternate history novels Seito (Divided Japan like Korea), Red Sun Black Cross (Japan fights against Germany) and so on, and the manga series Imperial Guards (Koukoku no Shugosha) and Highschool of the Dead, which he produced with illustrator Shouji Satou.
