Hell’s Paradise follows Gabimaru the Hollow, a proficient ninja assassin with superhuman resilience. Yet, despite his ungodly skills, Gabimaru is captured during a botched assassination attempt and sentenced to death. Realizing that he’s led a repulsive life, Gabimaru accepts his punishment. But despite an executioner’s various attempts on his life, he survives. Witnessing this grotesque spectacle, a newbie member of the executioner clan, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, proposes another solution. They can use Gabimaru’s skills and durability to their advantage. If he can retrieve the elixir of life from the mystical island of Shinsenkyo, he’ll receive a pardon. But, with this task having a near-perfect attrition rate, can Gabimaru survive? Watch Hell’s Paradise on Crunchyroll to find out!
