The forces of darkness move on innocent people who are ignorant of their existence. A select few people can fight these demons to save the innocent. One such person is Japan’s only psychic teacher, a man with a demonic hand. We’ll see how this well-meaning, magical teacher handles his duties when Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube premieres sometime in July 2025.
Sho Makura and Takeshi Okano released the original Jigoku Sensei Nube manga series between August 24th, 1993, and May 11th, 1999. Shueisha published all 31 volumes in Weekly Shonen Jump. Toei Animation’s anime adaptation premiered on April 13th, 1996.
The titular teacher and two supernatural entities are as follows:

- Meisuke “Nube” Nueno — Ryoutarou Okiayu (Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott from Date A Live V). The kind and brave teacher fights demons to protect his students.
- Yukime — Ai Kakuma (Chino in Naruto Shippuden). The kind yuki-onna who has feelings for Nube.
- Kyosuke Tamamo — Toshiyuki Morikawa (Christopher Skyline from Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals). A magical being who stands as both an ally and rival to Nube.
Studio Kai maintains a home page and a Twitter (X) page to promote Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube. You can find more information there about the series and the key visuals.

Protect Your Students, Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube!
Meisuke “Nube” Nueno is a beloved teacher at Domori Elementary School. He is a self-professed exorcist who hails from a line of exorcists. However, only a few believe him. Tales of cursed hands and possessed paintings merely serve to entertain the students and baffle the other teachers. The truth comes out when the new transfer student goes wild and delivers a savage beating to some students who bullied him.

A 99-legged bug (that fostered and fed on anger and resentment) possessed Hiroshi Tateno. Nube managed to expel the bug and destroy it with his demonic hand (Oni no Te). Other spirits and monsters will continue to appear and target Nube and his students. Thankfully, he’ll have some powerful allies beside him to protect his school.
