- Botan Kamiina — Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika Ijichi from Bocchi the Rock!). Botan is an engineering major who takes a liking to alcohol.
- Kanade Gujo — Minako Kotobuki (Mitsuko Kongo from A Certain Scientific Railgun T). Kanade is a first-year grad student with a crush on Ibuki.

Bottoms Up, Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk
Ibuki Tonami is a dorm leader at a university in Chichibu, Saitama. Although she enjoys a good drink now and then, she prefers to enjoy herself in privacy. One of her dorm mates, Botan Kamiina, goes to find her after she disappears during one of her drinking sessions. She quickly finds out why Ibuki likes to drink alone: she’s self-conscious about her hiccups. Botan has no problem with it. Rather, she joins Ibuki for a drink because she thinks her dorm leader looks cool.
Botan doesn’t have much drinking experience, and her tolerance is quite low. Ibuki discovered that the hard way when Botan demanded Ibuki’s tongue. As strange as it was, Ibuki welcomed Botan whenever she enjoyed liquor, solidifying their friendship. Kanade Gujo has grown jealous of their friendship, given that she wants to share a drink or two with Ibuki while hoping for much more than friendship. Whether or not Kanade can have that drink while Botan and Ibuki grow closer, time will tell.
