The beloved gacha-inspired anime has announced its return. Arknights: Rise from Ember will adapt Episodes 7 and 8 of its “Act I: Shatter of a Vision” story arc from the Main Theme game campaign. Our favorite animal-eared girls have plenty of enemies to smite. Hypergryph hasn’t given us a premiere date, but they have given us a new trailer to enjoy.
Hypergryph and Studio Montagne released the original Arknights mobile game on May 1st, 2019.
Our lucky Doctor and a couple of the subordinate waifus are as follows:
- Doctor — Yuki Kaida (Desire from One Piece). The Doctor serves as both a physician and a tactical leader.
- Amiya — Tomoyo Kurosawa (Rebecca from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). She is a kind and devoted bunny-earned girl who bravely rushes to battle.
- Talulah Artorius — Maaya Sakamoto (Tamayo from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). She is one of the main antagonists who set the fires of war to burn all around her.
- FrostNova — Ayahi Takagaki (Lisbeth/Rika Shinozaki from Sword Art Online). A member of Reunion and the leader of the Yeti Squadron. She leaves snow and frost in her wake.

Arknights: Rise from Ember and Avert Destruction
Terra is a world of wonder and tragedy. The world suffers near-constant events known as “Catastrophes,” which have forced humanity — and their animal-eared contemporaries, the Ancients — to adopt a nomadic lifestyle. These Catastrophes leave behind Originium, a powerful crystalline substance that has enabled the use of magic-like energy. However, using Originium causes the terminal disease known as Oripathy. Pharmaceutical corporations like Rhodes Island now search for a cure while waging battle against hostile forces.
Talulah and her Reunion movement become a focus of Rise from Ember. Talulah has set the core city of Chernobog on a collision course with Lungmen. As for why she has taken a violent stance against Ursus, she is a victim of tragedy. Ursus targeted Infected people like her and executed the older man who took her in to protect her. She gathered like-minded Infected who grew weary of the persecution and declared war.
