Arifureta Season 3 Rise Above Devastation This Fall

Another isekai series that dashes the preconceived “we’ll have fun in another world” dream is returning. Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest (Arifureta Shokugyo de Sekai Saikyo) Season 3 will premiere sometime in Fall 2024 and may adapt Volumes 7 and 8 of the light novel series. We’ll see how Hajime and his waifus handle the next phase of his revenge then. Let’s enjoy the new trailer.

Kaoru Shinozaki posted the original novel Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest to Shosetsuka ni Naro on November 7th, 2013. Overlap obtained the publishing rights and hired the artist Takayaki to adapt the series to a light novel format. The Overlap Bunko imprint published thirteen volumes from June 25th, 2015, to September 25th, 2022.

Our mistreated isekai protagonist and a couple of his waifus are as follows:

Hajime Nagumo — Toshinari Fukamachi (Genbu Kurono from The Idolmaster). Hajime received a simple Synergist job after his classmates were given Legendary jobs. A jealous classmate betrayed him, throwing him to the bottom of a dungeon.
Yue — Yuki Kuwahara (Naho Takada from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). An ancient and powerful vampire who was sealed away in the dungeon. Hajime freed her, earning her friendship. She later becomes his first wife.
Shea Haulia — Minami Takahashi (Ayami Sasaki from Komi Can’t Communicate). A cute bunny girl with a tragic history. She used her seer abilities to find Hajime and ask for his help to save her tribe.
Kaori Shirasaki — Saori Onishi (Yuki Sumi in Oshi no Ko). Hajime’s friend and the class idol. She joined Hajime after learning of his survival.

Arifureta: Take Revenge Against an Evil God and Traitorous Classmates

Not all isekai protagonists get that fantasy and adventure experience. Hajime Nagumo and the rest of his class were summoned to Tortus to fight demons. While his classmates all received legendary jobs like Hero or Necromancer, Hajime was given the low-tier job of Synergist. His classmates — who already hated him for how much Kaori liked him — mocked him even more. Daisuke Hiyama took it too far and tried to murder him by throwing him down a dungeon.

Hajime survived his fall and became a different person. His experiences made him ruthless. The kind and easily-bullied Hajime was no more. He used his skills to become far more formidable than his classmates and put the terror of death into them. Despite his scary demeanor, several women flocked to his side to become his wives. Okay. So, maybe he got that idyllic isekai life, but he really had to earn it.

Season 3 will follow Hajime as he travels to the Hoelscher Empire to settle matters there. During this time, his party will encounter doppelgängers, and Hajime will confront his feelings for Shea.
