The steamy romantic comedy manga by Yu Hashimoto, 2.5 Dimensional Seduction (2.5 Jigen no Lilysa) was announced via the official website to be receiving a TV anime adaptation. No information regarding staff, cast, or air date has been released yet. We will update you when those details are released. The studio have, however, released a cute visual teaser of one of the main characters, Lilysa, and her cute cosplay which is seen below.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website since 2019, and has published 15 volumes as of October 4th. The 16th volume is scheduled to be released on January 4th. The manga series is being translated into English by Seven Seas Entertainment and has accumulated over 1.7 million copies to date.
Seven Seas Entertainment describes the series as:
“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Lilliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
