The newest Persona game was released in Japan back in September, while the initial Western release date of February 14th was delayed to March 4th.
The PR Twitter of the game announced that 1.5 million copies had been sold worldwide on the Playstation 4/Playstation 3 platforms.
To make up for the delayed release Atlus is offering the original Japanese voice audio as a free DLC for the, instead of going with the original plan to not offer any dual-language audio option.
The Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers- television anime special aired on September 3. The special recounts the prologue story of the young thief organization at the center of the game. Crunchyroll streamed the television special, and Aniplex of America released it on an import Blu-ray Disc of the Collector’s Edition on February 14.
