Someday, maybe decades from now, or sometime next week — I’ll be on the precipice of that most distant shore. In that moment, I’ll see my accomplishments as the theme for Amore Mio Aiutame plays in the background. I’ll remember all the things I loved. The joy of introducing J-List readers to new R18 and doujin artists will flood my mind, and I’ll smile.
That may sound like hyperbole, but I’ve enjoyed my time here and all the warmth it brought. I know that my cohorts feel the same — that’s why we hold so many sales. We appreciate our hentai family. Speaking of appreciation, I’ve always loved supporting my favorite illustrators and doujin artists by getting their merch. And if that’s something you also enjoy, the gods of luck favor you today. Our 15 percent early summer sale is THE perfect time to get merch from your favorite R18 and doujin artists. But with J-List’s extensive collection, one’s wallet can suffer. So, here are some of the things I’d buy! And for your viewing pleasure, some of the art I love.
Summer is here, and you know what that means: it’s time for an awesome J-List sale! Through June 22, you can get 15% off all in-stock products shipping from Japan, including awesome “meiki” ero toys based on your favorite JAV actress, those extra-large bottles of ero lotion, JAV DVDs and Blu-rays, hentai anime, and more. The Art of Aiue Oka — My Guilty Pleasure
What does my taste in hentai have in common with my ice cream preferences? I’m worryingly fond of vanilla. While it may disappoint or surprise readers, except for Maho Ako, I dislike most sexually perverse/violent content. However, whoever made me blessed me with emotional intelligence, and that little skill lets me appreciate an artist’s style, even if I don’t vibe with their work. And of all the doujin artists who make sketchy content but delight me with their art, Aiue Oka stands near the summit.

If you’ve never heard of Oka-sensei, there’s a disproportionate chance you’ve seen and read their work. Aiue Oka is the mastermind behind Saimin Seishidou, Yumemiru Otome, and Gal-tachi ni Kimogararenagara! If you’ve spent more than twenty minutes on a hentai site, you know those titles. And if you’ve spent more than two minutes on the J-List site, you know that Oka-sensei is one of our most loved doujin artists. We stock everything from the Saimin Seishidou OVAs to lotions, panties, and onaholes based on the series’ heroines. We also have the Yumemiru Otome (Dreaming Maiden) doujin and OVA!
And until June 22, the bulk of our Aiue Oka merch is 15 percent off, so why not snag a few items? I recommend the Dreaming Maiden Complete Edition h-manga and the Tonari no Kanojo OVA.

Slice-of-life Vibes + Wanton Lewdness = Karory
If I asked you to name a few doujin artists with slice-of-life vibes, how many could you name? For me, only three come to mind, and one of them is Karory. When I think about that, it’s kinda messed up. The art may look like it’s from a slice-of-life, but what you’re watching and reading sure isn’t. Karory doujins are like UFO abductions — there’s a lot of hypnosis in them. But that’s what J-List readers like, since keeping Karory stuff is almost impossible. But the keyword in that sentence is “almost,” since we stock quite a few Karory items. They’re one of our favorite doujin artists.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the light novels illustrated by Karory (Daredemo Nareru! Light Novel Shujinkou, Yuusha Rin no Densetsu, and Duel in the Reverse). Lamentably, we also don’t have Seiso Bitch na Miko Senpai or Imouto to (Saimin de) Ichaicha Suru Hon. However, we do have the latter’s heroines’ onaholes! You were born too late to experience no-rules regulations (or owning a house), and you were born too early to explore the stars. But you were born in an era where you could use an Amane-chan onahole. That counts for something.

Mataro — One of the Best Oppai Doujin Artists
Someone once told Kashou that he should write about more extra-busty waifus. Kashou was displeased. At least, he was displeased until he saw the art of Mataro (Matarou).
I didn’t know this artist until I started writing for J-List. And given their massive body of work, that’s surprising. Mataro has illustrated several light novels, manga, and doujins — including Kantai Collection: Kakuyoku no Kizuna. I’ve read that. I liked that! Yet, I didn’t look up the artist’s or mangaka’s other work. Oh, the wasted years. Oh, the regret. How it stings to know I could have known about My Childhood Friend Is Annoyingly Cute!!, and My Sister-like Friend with Huge Tits Seduced Me Even Though I Have a Girlfriend earlier.

Unfortunately, I can’t offer you those doujins. They’ve long been out of print. Sure, you can find secondhand ones online. But if you buy a secondhand doujin, you’re a braver person than I am. However, I can offer you the Rocket Boy Dealer Bunny 1/6 figure, a buxom beauty based on an illustration by Matarou. See, I told you, it’s the perfect time to pick up merch from your favorite doujin artists.

Do You Love Doujin Artists?
I think I can safely assume that whoever’s reading this has a few well-loved doujin artists. If I were to ask you who’s the one you think everyone should know about? Who would it be? Would you share your favorite doujin artist or R18 illustrator with the J-List family? How about recommending a doujin that many may not know about? We’d love to hear your answers on the J-List server. We can turn those suggestions into letters and send them to people in the UK. That way, they know what they’re missing. Ja ne!
