Easter is upon us, and with it comes cute bunny girls. Not this year! We here at J-List have loftier opinions. Bunny girls are great, of course. No one hops better than cute bunny girls. However, they’re not the only cute girls with eggs that need hunting. Dragon girls naturally lay eggs, and it’s so much fun to share in the process. They’re also fiercely defensive of those same eggs, so let’s be careful as we honor these mythical waifus.
1. Grea (Manaria Friends)
Grea is technically a half-dragon girl, but she still belongs here. She is considered an outcast among the dragons, which leads her to the humans. Grea enrolled in the Mysteria Academy of Magic and befriended Princess Anne.
Kenji Mizuda worked on the original Rage of Bahamut: Manaria Friends manga series between May 8th, 2016, and November 26th, 2017. Cygames published both volumes in Cycomi.
2. Ophis (High School DxD)
Ophis is one of the most powerful dragons in creation. She bears the titles Ouroboros Dragon and Infinite Dragon God. Indeed, she is one of the best dragon girls around. Ophis is both justice and plot. Samael stole part of her powers and gave rise to Lilith. Like every other cute girl in the series, both reside now at Issei’s place.
Ichiei Ishibumi and Miyama-Zero worked on the original light novel from September 20th, 2008, to March 20th, 2018. Fujimi Shobo published all 25 volumes and four short stories in Dragon Magazine.
3. Tohru and Lucoa (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid)
These two dragon girls definitely want their partners to help them lay eggs in time for Easter. Tohru is desperately in love with the human woman Kobayashi, not that she sees it as a barrier to their future. Lucoa has become smitten with Shouta, the young mage who summoned her. He’s young, but Lucoa doesn’t see that as a barrier to their future either.
Lucoa isn’t shy about her figure, and she’ll use it to get Shouta’s attention to help her lay some eggs. The Lucoa 1/7 Figure from Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is available for pre-order now.
Coolkyousinnjya has been writing and drawing this series since May 25th, 2013. Futabasha has released thirteen volumes in the Monthly Action magazine since then.
4. Mink (Dragon Half)
Mink is another half-dragon girl. She begins her epic journey with the desire to become fully human. Mink was one of the girls who fell in love with the famed singer Dick Saucer. Unfortunately for her, Dick Saucer has the dragon slayer power, and Mink is half-dragon. Thus, she sets out to seal the Demon Lord and create the potion that turns her into a human.
Ryusuke Mita created the original Dragon Half manga series from January 30th, 1988, to April 30th, 1994. Fujimi Shobo published all seven volumes in Dragon Magazine.
5. Sylphid / Irukuku (The Familiar of Zero)
Irukuku is a rhyme dragon and Tabitha’s loyal familiar. She can take on a human form, though she initially prefers her usual dress code: no clothes. She eventually wears clothes in human form to our detriment. Though childish, Irukuku is courageous in the heat of battle.
Noboru Yamaguchi wrote, and Eiji Usatsuka illustrated this series from June 25th, 2004, to February 24th, 2017. Media Factory published 22 volumes and a side story collection in the MF Bunko J imprint.
