The First Annual J-List Onahole Awards
2019 was a fun year for J-List. We watched a lot of anime, wrote a lot of blog posts about Japan and the anime industry, and naturally, sold a lot of naughty toys. We actually don’t consider ourselves an adult toy shop — we still sell tons of bento boxes and cute plush toys and Japanese study supplies. But the Internet being what it is, certain products naturally become more popular than others. And so here’s a post on the first J-List Onahole Awards.
Since I wrote so many reviews of onaholes and other innovative ero products on this blog, I thought it’d be fun to pick the best and most innovative new products that were released in 2019. These are all new products released in the current year, so if you browse J-List’s ero products page sorted by popularity, you’ll see a lot of items on the list that aren’t represented here, because they’ve been around for several years.

Best Soft Onahole
Fans seemed to really enjoy the Puni Puni Bomber Soft, a slightly softer version of the normal Puni Puni Bomber. In general, we recommend that fans start with softer onaholes, which are closer to what a real female is like, and only move towards “harder” toys as you become an advanced user.
Best Hard Onahole
Maccos really had a great year, and the Inwaku Suggestion Hard Nostalgic Onahole wins the J-List Onahole Award for best “hard” (firm) toy. Read a review of this interesting toy, which comes in two versions and supports both vaginal and anal sex.
J-List Onahole Awards: Best Overall Innovation
Without a doubt, the PUNIANAROID Automatic Masturbation Technology toy, which automatically masturbates you with its advanced technology, got the attention of fans, and easily wins the J-List onahole awards entry for this category. Read a review here.
Runner up: the LIFE – Sex Growth Record toy, which lets you have sex with a fictional girl at several stages of her life, as she moves from JK to college student to young professional OL and finally MILF, was incredible. Review is here.
Most “Imaginative” Concept Award
I thought Toy’s Heart “Moshimo” (What If…?) concept was amazing. It featured four inexpensive ero toys with a specific concept behind each, like a yoga teacher who gets hot and bothered during class and needs you to relieve her stress in the bedroom, or a sex-ed teacher who’s willing to go the extra distance for her students. Best “Torso Type” Onahole
Some larger onaholes simulate the entire female body with their shape, including breasts, ass and more. There were several good ones this year, but the Gokujou Naked HIP pleased our customers the best. Read our review here!
Best “Hip-Type” Onahole
The Japanese sometimes mi-map the meanings of English words, and to them, the English word “hip” means “ass.” The best “hip-type” onahole, which realistically recreates a girl’s ass, including anus and vagina, was the S-Rank Momo Motchi 2000, which was the most realistic “ass simulator” we’ve seen yet. Oral onaholes that simulate a blow job from a cute anime girl are quite popular, and we have a ton of them on the site, including incredibly detailed ones with soft teeth you can feel scraping across your member, to inexpensive toys that are perfect for a quickie. Best Parody Toy
We all had fun watching the Okaa-san Online anime, in which a sexy mom accompanies her son into an isekai fantasy world and had many (mostly sexy) adventures. Best Onahole Overall Based on Customer Purchases
And the overall winner of the J-List Onahole Awards, the toy that sold the most, was the Absorption Lamia Succubus Onahole, which lets you experience sex with a snake-girl who’s also a succubus, because why not? An update to the hugely popular Absorption Lilith Dark Anime Succubus toy, which people love because dark-skinned anime girls are fucking hot.
