Senpai needs Assistant-kun’s help in dealing with teachers to make an official Magic Club.

As Tejina-Senpai rolls along this season, we’re getting to know the title character better. It was a pretty funny fake-out where Assistant-kun thought he and Senpai might have an easier time because he could talk to his nice homeroom teacher, but Sensei (Onee-chan according to the official site) turned out to be Senpai’s overbearing and extremely handsy older sister. They didn’t seem related at first, but after we saw how Senpai described her as seemingly competent but a goofball, and then how the principal had to deal with her, it became clear they came from the same family.
This episode featured Senpai’s internal thoughts and I have to say I didn’t like her pettiness. It’s one thing to try to keep one’s self-esteem up, but it’s not good to do that by tearing down someone else. We knew that Assistant-kun wasn’t going to take that kind of abuse, so the joke situation was set up for Senpai getting the reversal, but it was not a good look for her. It was the first time she didn’t come across as sympathetic. Hopefully, this was the first and last time she tries to do this kind of belittling and she learned her lesson.
The cast is slowly growing with the introduction of Onee-chan Sensei, but I do have to wonder about Assistant-kun. He’s been going to this new school for at least a month now, but he’s only ever spent time with Tejina-senpai. He eats lunch in the club room with her too. Doesn’t he have any other friends? Has he been ostracized because he’s hanging out with the crazy, booby, magical Senpai? Sure, he gets the side benefit of Senpai accidentally flashing him all the time, but that can’t be healthy. Well, we have other supporting characters who haven’t appeared yet, so I hope he finds more wholesome friendships during the Tejina-Senpai season.

1st Chapter – “Senpai’s Discomfort”
Oh? Assistant-kun’s homeroom teacher is Senpai’s sister? No wonder she got nervous going into the faculty room.
Sensei is married, or at least she has a wedding ring. Onee-chan loves her cute little sister and her not so little boobs… It looks like Senpai was Sensei’s plaything growing up. Sensei acts like she knows what she’s doing but is secretly a total goofball. They really are related! Senpai played with “rods and balls.” The dudes all react. Strike a pose, Senpai! I want to see this pose Big Sis Sensei just did. This whole sisterly scene is too precious.
Yay! Senpai almost got the trick right. Big Sis Sensei is a prankster! And she loves big boobs, just like her little sister has.
She’s obviously going to be the club adviser. No escaping Big Sis Sensei. Yup, Sensei is a big goofball, and the principal looks like he has a lot of experience dealing with her.
2nd Chapter – “Pop Quiz Senpai”
Assistant-kun can read Senpai like a book. She needs to feel superior. I don’t like the snide comments thing, but I want to see how she gets in trouble. Ha! Even the show called her out by labeling her “garbage.”

Behemoth-kun takes a lot of punishment in this show.
Nice, flowery panties. Senpai is going along the usual clumsy girl route instead of just the clumsy magic girl. Classic comedy misunderstanding of having the wrong context in mind. Assistant-kun should have been explicit, but where’s the fun in that?
Oh, Senpai gets what she deserves with that bleh reaction.
All Assistant-kun can see is a flower print! Senpai figured it out! I didn’t think that was possible.
3rd Chapter – “Conquering Senpai”
Magic tricks are still expensive for Senpai.
She’s finally asking for help on fixing her stage fright. This is going to be a disaster.
That is not a calming kind of breath. Ready to give birth! She needs to go to the bathroom.
This repetition of exercise is good for a nap.
Tickle time! Assistant-kun still appreciates Senpai’s body, as well he should. Tempted by the booby! Senpai is too pure! She just thinks Assistant-kun is reluctant to tickle her. That’s what smug Senpai gets! Tickle to the max!
4th Chapter – “Kimono Senpai”
Wazuma, traditional Japanese sleight of hand magic. Wazuma-senpai instead of Tejina-senpai?
Oh! That water fountain stuff is what Aqua does in Konosuba.
Poor Senpai. She can’t do the trick, but she’s a god-tier teacher. Anything to save her self-esteem.
Oh no. Don’t let her play with fire.
5th Chapter – “Senpai Off Campus”
Ha! They were forced outside by the principal because of the sprinkler damage.
Don’t go trying to capture pigeons. They hate you, Senpai!
Today is a green day for Senpai…
Assistant-kun doesn’t want to get on the bad side of pigeons. Smart man.
That’s supposed to be bird poop, but it looks awfully suggestive.
