Why We Love Emilia-tan!
It’s easy to see why Re:Zero’s isekai protagonist, Subaru Natsuki, is obsessed with Emilia. As one of the last half-elves in the world, she possesses an otherworldly grace that’s almost too good to believe. Despite her often shy personality and stilted way of speaking (a side effect from being frozen solid for a century!), Emilia fiercely defends her loved ones.
Re:Zero focuses heavily on the sense of self, memories, and regressive iterations. Despite being ostracized due to her uncanny resemblance to the evil witch, Satella, Emilia still puts herself forward as a candidate to become her kingdom’s next ruler. This mixture of self-confidence and undeniable allure makes Emilia a truly captivating character, and a perfect choice for cosplay.

Emilia’s Sexiest Cosplay
No matter how many times Subaru experiences horrific “bad ends” in this new world, he’ll always put his body on the line to protect Emilia. We completely agree with him, because Emilia has her surprisingly sexy moments, especially when brought to life by bustier cosplayers.
Sure, canonically, Emilia might not compete with Rem, but that’s the great thing about cosplay! Talented models and fans can re-imagine characters and bring them from the screen to real life and then adapt them for their own bodies and personalities. Emilia’s Bridal and Lingerie Cosplay
In Season 3 of Re:Zero (no major spoilers, we promise!), Emilia finds herself at the mercy of Regulus, the Sin Archbishop of Greed, who wants to forcefully add her to his harem of unwilling brides. We don’t condone any bride-snatching here at J-List. Still, we do understand Emilia’s appeal, especially in her bridal gown and lingerie.
Perhaps, in the near future, Subaru will finally make Emilia his own bride and wake up next to this 10/10 cutie every morning. These cosplays really take Emilia to the next level, focusing on her soft curves and eye-catching cleavage!
