In almost a year, the Philippines now has had a few idol-related events occur. While some of them debut different indie idol groups and perform on stage, this one event stand out from all of them—it was a fundraiser event organized by idol fans for idol groups!
BONDS, the First Philippine Indie Idol Fan Meeting happened last October 28, 2018 in the Asian Social Institute in Manila. This is organized by DareDemo Sekai, a small team composed of dedicated anime, seiyuu, and idol fans.
The event gave attendees a chance to get to know and bond with their favorite Filipino idols. It was also served as a small fundraiser for some of the idol groups guesting in the event. The following groups performing were ALICE Project, CH4U, Color Up! Project/Pastel PH, Project Urodia, Seushi, Tanchikon, and Aidoru Sozai. There was even a wotagei performance by Hibana.
Aside from various performances, an auction and various merchandise from the idol different groups were also available to attendees.
Cheers to more events like this! Sometimes, a little help and support would really get these groups to start again and reach their dreams even more.
