Saya comforts you after you receive disappointing news. Better news for you comes soon after!
Episode 10 – “Orisaki Saya Comes Over”
Hmm.
One Room ended Saya’s story the same way it started: by telling jokes about Saya jumping to conclusions and blurting things out. I was sure we would spend more time on “your” emotional state from the shock and disappointment of missing the cut on the entrance exam again, but I should not have counted out Saya’s comedy machine. She thought she was already “your” girlfriend. I laughed!
One Room’s busty comedic character also delivered another twist: she’s been unemployed since the day “you” found her at the park. If that day happened on the same morning “you” found her sharing a bed, she might have gotten drunk the night before because she quit her job. She wanted to help “you” because she had extra time to fill out her days of looking for a new job. She wasn’t lying when she told “you” adults have lots of things going on.
The big question in Saya’s story arc for One Room was when she began to think “you” and she were an item. Was it when “you” asked for a date? Was it when she confessed that she didn’t have a fake boyfriend because she had a real one? It’s a nice question to debate because we can’t read Saya’s mind. If we wait long enough, she might just blurt it out.
Lastly, I liked how One Room bookended Saya’s story. It started with “you” finding her in “your” bed by accident. At the end, Saya made sure “you” knew she was in “your” bed on purpose. The other difference might be how little sleep she gets before morning. Lucky “you!”
Heh.
Hoh. Now “you’re” at the park all depressed. Saya needs more exercise. “You” were ashamed to tell her the unwelcome news. Bombshell! Saya is unemployed too? Since when? When “you” found her in the park in her first One Room episode?
Eh? Ehhhh!? Saya thought she was “your” girlfriend. Since when? Another bombshell from One Room! Saya still brings the comedy. Aw, now she’s embarrassed. Saya claims she’s a failure at work, relationships, and just life in general.
Good. “You” need to cheer her up. Wasn’t she supposed to cheer “you” up? Hey, the night is still young and “your” date with Saya was only taking an intermission from last week’s One Room episode. Back to the Ferris Wheel! Nice. “You” gave Saya the official love confession. Oh. “You” planned to ask her out after you passed. Another year without a girlfriend too? No wonder “you” got impatient. Saya made her official response. Cute.
Date interrupted. A phone call came for “you,” saying “you’re” on the waiting list! “You’re” not a complete failure. Now Saya needs to get a job, and she won’t be a failure at work, relationships, or life anymore. Is “your” happy ending in One Room happening soon?
Adorable. Now that “you” and Saya are an official couple, she feels nervous being alone in “your” apartment. How did she feel when she thought she was “your” girlfriend helping “you” study before? She wasn’t nervous about leaning in for a kiss! What else will happen in this one room? More than just fist bumping, I hope.
Saya only wears a towel in the end card. There’s her happy ending too.
