Curious Love Live! fans will not have to wait much longer to see what the franchise’s third generation of school idols has in store. The group of nine, formerly under the brand Perfect Dream Project, now simply known as Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, will be having their first live concert. Announced on the official Love Live Twitter, the group’s debut concert titled “with You” will be held in Tokyo from December 14th to the 16th.
Fans overseas will also have a chance to attend as the official website is offering tickets and hotel packages for the event. The admission package, which includes a ticket to both days of the concert and three nights hotel stay as well as an exclusive souvenir, will be available for application starting on October 3rd and will run until the 15th. Due to demand, applicants will be chosen via lottery and winners will be announced on October 18th. They’ll have until the 23rd to claim and pay for their package. Current prices for admission are 72,000 yen (about $676) for a double room and 82,000 yen ($770) for a single room. More details and information can be found on the official website here.
Fans can expect some big news announced during the concert. Each generation of school idol groups has used the live events as a way to hype up announcements for the Love Live! franchise. The wildly popular Love Live! anime was announced during µ’s’ second concert in 2013, and both µ’s and Aqours had their movie announcements during concerts as well.
In addition to the concert, the Nijigasaki girls are also coming out with a new album titled “Love U my friends” on October 2nd. The album will feature a solo song by all nine of the girls as well as a tenth track featuring the entire group. A preview of the album’s songs can be found on the official YouTube account here.
