Our Customers Can’t Get Enough of our Rem Onahole Toys
I’ve written before about how the popularity of J-List can have an effect on the local Japanese market for certain products. When Sakura Pepsi came along, J-List couldn’t keep them in stock, and we sold so many of the Mountain Dew Cheetos (yes, they actually were a thing) that we basically bought out the allotment for the entire northern Kanto region.
This popularity extends to adult toys, sometimes. We sell so many of the classic Japanese Rotar [sic] egg vibrator (in part thanks to our “H” fuku-bukuro grab bags) that our distributor told us we had basically bought out the entire stock of the manufacturer. So the popularity of J-List is basically interfering with the private sexy time of females in Japan. (Sorry!)
And now it’s happened again. One of the most adored waifus to come along in years is Rem from Re:Zero, and onahole maker Tamatoys has naturally come to the aid of fans who want to bring their relationship with her to the next level, through the magic of “2.5D” (that is, fantasizing about a 2D character using an object in the 3D world). J-List sells so many Rem onahole toys that our distributor told us we had basically cornered the market, buying all stock of both toys, inadvertently denying Japanese Re:Zero fans their quality time with everyone’s favorite maid. (Don’t worry, they’re making more now.)
