Let’s Learn About JAV Idol Yui Nagase!

Yui Nagase — who performed under the name Rina Iijima with the Tokyo-based idol band Akihabara Backstage Pass and appeared on TV regularly — is the latest member of Japan’s music idol world to decide to switch careers to a more horizontal one. While the announcement shocked her fans, we have zero complaints!

Yui was born in…well we don’t know, as her official profile would be fake even if she had one. But Rina Iijima was born March 12, 1997, in Tokyo. She decided she wanted to be an idol just like the super-cute Miyuki Watanabe of NMB48, and worked hard to pass her recruitment for the Akihabara Backstage Pass idol group.

But the idol world is a hard one, with hours of practice and dedication required to survive, to say nothing of group members trying to knife each other in the back to claim the top position among fans, spreading rumors about their team members. “At the basic level of my DNA, I was not suited for that world,” she said in an interview, “especially the idea that we were forbidden from ever falling in love with someone and dating them, just because of our image with the fans.” After she “graduated” from her idol group, she started to think of her future career…and decided that doing porn to earn some money might be fun.

In the end, she decided to continue doing JAV. “I assumed it would be hell, that I’d have to perform constantly with many men, and my spirit and ‘down there’ would both be wrecked. In reality, it’s a pretty fun job, and everyone is helpful and supportive.” She also learned a lot about how to have great sex. “My favorite position is tachi bakku [being taken from behind while standing], but I hate performing fellatio.”

Yui Nagase’s photobook is titled Ketsui no Shoujo, meaning “A Girl’s Determination.” It features every kind of lovely and sexy photograph of the former idol that fans could ask for. The book, which features photographs by Taki Suzugo, is limited to just 3000 copies.
