It was recently revealed that the blu-ray version of the 11th instalment of the Dragon Ball Z movie franchise, Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, was censored and now Toei Animation is apologizing and offering refunds. The blu-ray advertised that it was unedited, meaning no alteration had been done.
The censoring was first discovered by Twitter user nappasan (the edited version on the left and original on the right).

The hand gesture was also removed from the blu-ray version of Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound.

This is nothing new as most Dragon Ball fans know that characters have often given the middle finger as a taunt. The hand gesture has been censored for Japanese TV rebroadcasts.
