The results for this year’s My Hero Academia poll was recently published in issue #52 of the Weekly Shonen Jump.
When we thought our favorite hero-in-training Izuku “Deku” Midoriya is going to be number on the rankings, sadly he’s only ranked at number 3 this year. He was at number 2 last year but was taken over by Shoto Todoroki. The hothead Katsuki Bakugo is still number one. Another fan favorite, the Pro Hero Hawks, has entered into the poll ranks this year at 4.
Weekly Shonen Jump has accumulated a total of 80,714 votes with 2,000 votes from outside of Japan. Below shows the full top 10 list:

5. Eijiro “Red Riot” Kirishima
6. Tsunagu “Best Jeanist” Hakamata

The My Hero Academia manga series is created by Kohei Horikoshi and was launched in July 2014 in the Weekly Shonen Jump. The manga has published a total of 20 volumes so far in Japan. The manga series (along with its spinoff My Hero Academia: Vigilantes) has sold more than 17 million copies.
