As the season gets chilly, let’s warm ourselves with the love of cute and cool anime girls. Blue-hair anime girls aren’t as widespread as girls with red or pink hair, but we cultured otaku love it when they show up. These girls are eye-catching in their own ways, whether they have superpowers or giant robots. Let’s tally up some cool blue-hair anime girls as the Winter season arrives.
1. Allenby Beardsley (Mobile Fighter G Gundam)
Allenby is most certainly a mecha pilot waifu with brilliant blue hair. She’s a Gundam pilot who represents Neo Sweden in the Gundam Fights. Allenby implemented the Berserker System during her fights. However, her match against Neo Japan’s Domon Kasshu caused her to reconsider her use of it. She remains one of G Gundam’s Best Girls, with or without the skintight suit. Rain is a tough competitor, though.
Yasuhiro Imagawa directed Mobile Fighter G Gundam for Sunrise. 49 episodes aired between April 1st, 1994, to March 31st, 1995.
2. Abriel Lafiel (Banner of the Stars / Seikai no Senki)
Lafiel is an Abh, a long-lived alien species. While some have elf-like ears, all of them have blue hair. She’s also a member of Abh royalty, possessing the rank and title Viscountess of Paryunu. Lafiel’s grandmother is the 27th Empress Abriel Frybac Ramaj and the niece of the incumbent 28th Emperor Abriel Dusanyu of the Humankind Empire of Abh. Besides all that, she is a decorated military commander and a victor of many campaigns against the Four Nations Alliance.
Underneath her nobility and military achievements, Lafiel is still inherently a girl, and she’s become quite close with the Human Jinto Linn. Their lifespans differ, but that hasn’t stopped their hearts from joining.
Hiroyuki Morioka released the first novel series, Crest of the Stars (Seikai no Monsho), between April 11th, 1996, and June 11th, 1996. Hayakawa Publishing sent all three volumes to print. 4. Medaka Kurokami (Medaka Box)
Medaka is a superpowered student council president. She was born with exceptional talents, though, at first, they didn’t make her happy. Medaka became determined to help people, especially those “led astray.” This seemingly perfect woman, whose beauty matches her wits and raw power, has eyes only for her childhood friend Zenkichi. Despite that, her tantalizing figure has caught the eyes of many others. Especially the viewers. Boob windows are peak.

6. Rei Ayanami (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
We can’t just let that redhead Asuka hog the spotlight, can we? Rei can pilot a mecha, too. Rei is a quiet girl, especially compared to Asuka. She’s almost robotic. However, she is fiercely loyal to NERV, and it’s clear that she cares for Shinji. Her origins and secret nature will shake the foundations of the world itself.

In reality, this blue-hair angel was banished and ordered to participate in the Queen’s Blade tournament. Nanael is a failure of an angel, and the Chief Angel gave her this task with the constraint that she not spill the “Holy Milk” contained in a bottle on her belt. She isn’t totally out in the cold because Nanael has taken up with the holy nun Melpha.
Queen’s Blade first began its sexy tournament as a series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan.
8. Tomoe (TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy-)
Tomoe is just a nickname for the world’s second most powerful Greater Dragon. Her blue hair turns to blue scales in dragon form, of course. She previously fought the Black Spider of Calamity Mio. Their relationship has improved at a glacial pace even though they both vie for a single man’s love and affection. Fortunately, they have both become physically intimate with Makoto. Tomoe has changed from disinterest in the world to becoming an active member to be with her lover.
Kei Azumi first published his TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy- novel to Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2012. AlphaPolis would later pick up the publishing rights, and the artist Mitsuaki Matsumoto was hired to adapt the series to light novel format. Eighteen volumes have been published as of 2013.
9. Felicia (Darkstalkers)
Felicia is a bright and happy catgirl. She dreams of a world where humans and Darkstalkers can coexist in peace. That dream is possible since Felicia and some other catgirls formed a musical with Felicia herself at the center. Despite her kind nature, she is willing to fight against every foe. A bit of interesting trivia: Felicia here has the largest bust in SNK, with Mai Shiranui in second by a centimeter. Felicia and Morrigan Aensland were the only two female characters available in Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors.
If you want to bring home this blue-haired cat girl, J-List can help. The Felicia 1/7 Darkstalkers Bishoujo Figure is now available for purchase.
