Aria’s party traveled to the imperial capital. They met famous heroes, including someone they already knew!
Episode 9 — “Fated Reunion in the Imperial City!”
Hmm.
I love it when character development also serves as foreshadowing. Beheneko has tripped up the stairs to god-tier anime through its mid (MIDI?) background music and plot points with poor expository foundations. But I have no complaints about how it adds little scenes of character moments. My favorite tanned waifu of the 2025 winter season had her hero moment in this episode. Literally!
Beheneko laid a solid foundation for Vulcan’s ultimate revelation as an Artifact Smith. But it had hidden her Hero of the Empire status in plain sight since the second episode! How does a simple smith handle all the monsters in a dungeon using a two-handed mallet, wearing coveralls and bike shorts? Because Vulcan is crazy sexy, capable, and a bona fide demon smasher! I loved Beheneko’s extra pop to explain her discomfort about receiving recognition for her exploits and how a backwater smith fulfills orders for the empire. Aria’s eyes might have spun from the shock, but the anime flashed its hand long ago.
Weekly Beheneko Cleavage and Pussy… Cat!

What’s the safest place for a smol kitten in a big city? Aria’s warm cleavage. Obviously! We are nine episodes into this show. Every question concerning warm, secure, safe, and tight spaces has the same answer. Busty elf chest shelf. My only disappointment comes from Tama missing out on Alisha’s mountainous mammary crevasse.

But Beheneko reserved a special moment for Alisha and Tama. She’s keenly aware that Elemental Cats are juvenile Behemoths. We have several implications about Alisha and her relationship with her gray Elemental Cat, her “Master,” and the Grand Mage. Could Tama have a humanoid form to match his past life incarnation as a noble knight? All these notions and issues accompany a simple nose boop.
Beheneko Made Me Go Feh!
Oh, come on! Beheneko should have been a self-enclosed reincarnation story. But now the Grand Mage is a Japanese isekai victim! Why? That’s totally unnecessary! What was the purpose of that crap other than to include Japanese foody bait? Feh!
Heh.

Ooh. Aria received imperial recognition from the emperor! Defeating a necromancer and a serial killing lord should gather attention from the authorities. Vulcan is still reluctant to talk about the emperor. Is she worried about what a visit to the capital means? Beheneko’s plot stream about demons returning could connect to this one soon.
Road trip! The capital city is far away! Aria has never been to a fancy city with many people. Rural villages and towns like Gladstone have been her experience so far. How about Tama? Do his past memories include walking around the capital? He claims to have been a knight, but where was his post? The city does not impress Vulcan. I expect Beheneko to answer the question about her low mood soon.

Ah. The emperor did call Aria to thank her and recognize her efforts to keep Gladstone safe. Oho! Vulcan knows the emperor and his son! Of course. She’s an Artifact Smith! Aria’s mind starts leaking out of her ears. Vulcan is also a hero! She was with the Grand Mage’s party when it defeated the demons and monsters! Vulcan only wanted to run a small smith shop as her reward for saving the kingdom from Ragnarök.
Beheneko — Past Comes Back to the Future

Here we go. The demoness Beelzebuth (who fights for her human friends) tells Aria and Vulcan that four demon lords are about to invade the world again. The empire needs Aria’s party to prevent the demons from resurrecting a demon king and a dark god to take over the world. How long ago was the first Ragnarök? Aria has grown up and filled out since that time.
Beheneko starts the Aria party’s preparation and training arc. Vulcan will hammer artifacts into weapons. But Stella, Aria, Lily, and Feri must level up and develop new skills to fight the Big Four. That “Big Four” sounds familiar. Who will train Aria? That person lives at the Grand Mage’s mansion. It has the Behemoth painting from the opening credits in the entrance hall!

Ah. Obviously, Alisha the Sword Saint will train Aria! But why a sexy maid uniform? Alisha explains the painting depicts “the first hero and holy beast” that sealed away the dark god. Funny how Beheneko makes the pair resemble a busty elf and a Behemoth’s third form. Aw. Aria has a heartfelt reunion with her rescuer. Plus, Alisha knows what kind of “Elemental Cat” Tama is!

I can get behind this training method — a chesty maid elf spanking with a wooden sword. First test: overcome oppressive killing intent aura. Vulcan spanks metal with a hammer. Beelzebuth spanks Lily and Feri with a pile of books. Prince Julius spanks Stella with tank tactics. Lots of spanking!
Nine Beheneko Bath Episodes in a Row!

Yay! Vulcan and Alisha have a rabu-rabu reunion. Does the Sword Saint have a thing for cat girls, too? Uh oh. I’ve seen those heart-eyes before. Aria had the same reaction to Tama’s “strength.” Dear doujin writers: Do your best! Alisha is a wife and a slave to her husband. That explains the chained collar she likes wearing. Vulcan has heard all this before. Let’s have Alisha explain her kinks in excruciating detail to Aria while they’re wet, naked, and hot.

Yup. Bath episode again! But! It’s the first time Tama joined the men’s side of the bath. Oh. The Grand Mage is away from home performing reconnaissance on the Big Four’s movements. His wives returned quickly to report on what they found. Wives, plural! Beelzebuth and Alisha are official harem members! Aria, Stella, and Vulcan suddenly want more details. Tama, watch out! But you better choose Aria as your “first” wife.

Ugh. Read my Feh section above. The author should not turn a reincarnation story into an isekai because he can only write about Japanese food.
Beheneko Approaches the Season’s End Game

Oh, finally. Alisha confirmed that Elemental Cats are Behemoths. Training continued, but Aria fell behind her comrades because the rest gained levels and skills. There’s your predictable dramatic plot point for the season-ending battle arc. Aria needs a reason to grow. How about showing Tama’s behemoth balls again? That will give her two reasons! Then Tama’s “little” behemoth will become a “mammoth” one!

Next time, Aria and her comrades return home to protect it from a Big Four who holed up in its dungeon. His presence explains why the higher-level monsters moved up to the first floor.
Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! streams on Hidive in Japanese audio with English subtitles.
Are you surprised Alisha is as horny and kinky as Aria for her “husband?” My question: will Beheneko keep up the streak of bath episodes even during a violent drama arc? What’s your vote? Let us know in the comments below.
