Are there any anime shows plopping quivering nipples and plump posterior cheeks on your screen this winter season? Yes! Beheneko: The Elf-Girl’s Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! (Ｓランクモンスターの《ベヒーモス》だけど、猫と間違われてエルフ娘の騎士（ペット）として暮らしてます, I’m a “Behemoth,” an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf-Girl’s Pet) is the winter season’s source of glorious nakedness.
We only saw a brief flash of nipples of momentous mammaries in a hot bath in the first episode, but I saw the promise for more. How? Upskirts and uncensored panty flashes. Know the signs for ecchi content so you can sniff them out quickly.
As you can tell from the overly long title that also serves as a synopsis, Beheneko started on a self-publishing website before a commercial publisher licensed the concept for a light novel, a manga adaptation, and now an anime. It’s not an isekai! The premise is straightforward reincarnation, but instead of a knight’s soul starting over in a human baby, he ends up in a behemoth’s cub. The S-ranked monster’s skills instantly reminded me of another overly long-titled story from a self-publishing website, adapted to a light novel, a manga, and a long-running anime series: Tensura.
Beheneko Makes Hash from Slime and Upskirts
Rimuru (“I’m not a bad slime”) gained monsters’ powers and skills when he ate a monster class for the first time. Our little behemoth kitten has the same ability, plus he also woke up in the bowels of a dungeon. Unfortunately, the first dragon he met was not as friendly as Veldora. But the baby behemoth’s scrap became a blessing for horn ball anime watchers! Beheneko’s primary story begins after a busty elf picks him up when she mistook him for an injured kitten.
From sliming time to making hairballs: My Life as a Busty Elf-Girl’s Cat, a.k.a. Beheneko. We love My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog, especially for the ground-level corgi-eyed view of short skirts and panting mistresses. Aria, who dubs her tom-balled kitten “Tama,” shows similar naughty tendencies about furry tiny companions. Cats have all the luck in anime. Even though Happy is a boy cat in Fairy Tail, he still gets to take hot baths with voluptuous mages. Why? “Because I’m a cat,” he always replies. Tama will eventually become used to hot, sweaty sessions with Aria, but not in this episode.
Hmm.
I’m a formerly obsessed RPG gamer, so I’m always curious about how an adventure-style anime uses the setting’s user interface and how the skills and techniques work. Beheneko emphasizes how odd it is that Tama can absorb other monsters’ attributes by consuming them. But how unusual is it for other players (ahem) characters to have more than one skill? I’ll look for more clues as the series progresses.
Another item that caught my attention was how the Sword Saint, whom Aria idolizes, also owned an “elemental cat.” Are elemental cats just friendly juvenile versions of a behemoth like Tama? And why did the Sword Saint have a neck shackle and broken chain? That makes me think her companion was the actual master of a master-slave arrangement. Beheneko is an ecchi fanservice show, so I already expect other fetishes besides waitstaff wearing bondage gear, bestiality, and furry yiffing to comedically appear. What else will chip away at the chivalrous knight trapped in a kitten’s body’s sense of morality? My body is ready for Episode 2!

I used to think video games and porn drove technological advancement in the multimedia sector. Oh no. The minor monolith can kill a wyvern, but that S-ranked earth dragon stomped him. Have a slashed eye for a parting gift! How long before the kitten calamity has a rematch in Beheneko?
Ah. Miss Busty Elf saw a dual-wielding busty elf with a cat companion save her life. That’s foreshadowing for you. Yay! The baby behemoth got an eyeful of black crotch ribbon as Oppai Elf rescued him.
Yes, my minor monster, she is an angel. He found the softest pillows in the house. Uh oh. Is Miss Busty Elf curious about boy parts? Virginal mindset. Oho. The kitten calamity still thinks like a knight who needs to save curvy elves from monsters doing “this and that” to them. Ugh. Goblins. We know what they like to do to women. Ha! Our chivalrous shoggoth saved his angelic elf mistress. Belly rubs are the best reward!
Go Cruising for a Bruising in Beheneko’s Guild Hall
Well. You don’t see that every day. The adventurers’ guild servers wear leather mankinis and chaps. Because gay musclemen wearing lipstick are so funny… right, Japan? At least Arnold Schwarzenegger… Holzweilzenegger (loose German translation — lumber time plowman, an expert in handling wood) knows how to keep his dining hall peaceful. Kasman plays the Gaston role in Beauty and the Beast, but we can thank him for telling the audience about Miss Busty Elf’s name: Aria. Uh oh. The kitten calamity has all the sharp, pointy things! Finally, the baby behemoth has a name: Tama.
Yup. Aria has a thing for balls. And for wine! Here we go, here we go. Beheneko’s bathtime for boobies! Since the guild has a spa, we can expect more of Aria’s adventuring friends to appear there with Tama.
Oh dear. Gaston… Kasman wants to kill Tama for getting in the way of his groping Aria. Why not a duel to save the kitten’s life? How can Tama help Aria win this overmatched fight? How about mistaking him for an elemental cat? Whatever that is. Warui monsuta janaiyo (It’s not a bad monster).
Ha! He said Beheneko’s full anime title. Thus begins Tama’s life as an elf-girl’s pet who mistook him for a cat. How long before he outgrows her cleavage mattress?

The preview dialog is hilarious. The long title from Aria’s perspective is “I’m Aria, a D-ranked Adventurer, But Attacked by a Kitty, I Now Get Tons of Pussy.” No lies detected! Next time, Tama meets a dark-skinned catgirl blacksmith. I love this show!
