Minato Kusunoki’s grandfather always instilled a level of reverence for the spirits that live just beyond the veil. He kept that reverence well into adulthood, when he took a job maintaining a mansion in the countryside. Strange things started happening from the moment he touched the gate’s handle and expelled the dark fog around the mansion. We’ll see what sort of spiritual situations arise for him when Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods (Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei) premieres on April 4th, 2026.

Let’s Protect Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods
Minato Kusunoki’s grandfather taught him about the spirits that live among humans. He left out offerings to spirits that only a few people could see. His writing and drawing skills, though weak, were surprisingly helpful. He would write memos and carve placards for his family’s inn. Though Minato doesn’t know it yet, his writing skills are a conduit for his great spiritual abilities.

Minato has recently taken on a caretaker job at a countryside mansion his late father helped build. The owner passed away around the same time, and it has been left empty ever since. Well, empty except for the dark spirits that captured the local mountain god. Minato accidentally exorcised the dark spirits with a simple memo page he wrote. Very soon, he expelled every ounce of darkness and created a powerful barrier that allowed local spirits and gods to rest in the garden. It won’t be long before he has to master his abilities and defend the paradise he created for the gods.
