J-List Tissues with All Orders Shipping from Japan!

J-List has had a lot of fun promoting our wonky company over the years. We’ve done Megumi trading cards, fun “anime glasses” that gave you anime-style eyes, and more. But J-List has always been closely associated with the Japanese pocket tissue we have included with orders or handed out at conventions in the past.

Reviewing some of “J-List’s greatest hits” over our company’s history, it’s funny how we often get credit for something that explodes on the Internet, despite us being just a shop that happened to be selling that item. When the big “Horse Head Mask” boom happened, fans on 4chan and Reddit called them the “J-List Horse Head Masks.” This was despite the fact that we didn’t make them. We were just the most famous identifiable shop selling them at the time.

And the same thing happened with the J-List tissues. Advertising tissues are a huge industry in Japan. When you walk down the street in Tokyo you generally end up with three or four tissues in your pocket. People just hand them out on every street corner. J-List just took this idea and ran with it, and our customers assumed we “invented” advertising tissues.
