An unfortunate young man lost his family at a young age. He refused to let that keep him down. Now that he’s older, he’s going to a university to achieve his goals. Along the way, he’ll choose between three cute miko sisters to be his wife. We’ll see how he gets along with the beautiful holy maidens when Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister (Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi) premieres on October 2nd, 2024.
Marcey Naito released the original Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister manga series on April 21st, 2021. Kodansha has since published sixteen volumes in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
The three beautiful miko sisters are as follows:
- Yae Amagami — Sumire Uesaka (Hayase Nagatoro from Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro). The eldest Amagami sister. She is a carefree art major with a crush on Uryu.
- Yuna Amagami — Kaede Hondo (Shigeru Kamado from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). The middle Amagami sister. She is a tsundere girl who achieves high grades in school.
- Asahi Amagami — Shion Wakayama (Henao Jazz from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). The youngest Amagami sister. She shows maturity beyond her years, though she has a mental complex about her small bust size.

We’re Looking Forward to Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister
Tragedy marks Uryu Kamihate’s life. He lost his mother at a young age, which forced him to grow up in an orphanage. This loss inspired him to try to become a doctor. To that end, Uryu must pass the entrance exam and enter Kyoto University’s medical school. While he follows his dream of becoming a doctor, he takes up residence at the Amagami Shrine.
The head priest suddenly asks Uryu to marry one of his granddaughters to continue the Amagami line. It’s the least Uryu could do because he’s getting to stay at a great shrine, after all. Yae, Yuna, and Asahi diligently work at the shrine, and they know that financial problems jeopardize its continued operations. Uryu can help out around the shrine by cooking and cleaning. Though the sisters are happy with his presence, they’re not above retaliating when they catch Uryu in awkward and potentially lewd situations.
