The new entry in the long-running anime series Genesis of Aquarion (Sousei no Aquarion) has been announced and given the title Genesis of Aquarion Myth of Emotions. No plot details have been released thus far, and there isn’t even a release window. However, the trailer presented thus far shows the new series mecha right after clips from prior Genesis of Aquarion anime series. There is also an official comment from series creator Shōji Kawamori.
First, let’s take a look at the trailer. As previously stated, it provides clips from the first three entries in the Genesis of Aquarion series.
A promotional home page and official Twitter page were set up to keep fans up to date with new series information. There is currently no information on the new series, but keep an eye on these pages. There is a nice Key Visual of the new series mecha.
Shōji Kawamori added his comments about the forthcoming series on the home page. As in the trailer, he looked back at the series, remarking that it had been eighteen years since the first Genesis of Aquarion series aired. He attributed the longevity to the staff who work on the series and the fans who support them.
He expressed his wish to create a new world unlike anything seen before with a new team behind him and hopes the fans unite with them when the series airs.

Since the trailer shows off the previous Aquarion series, let’s do the “origins” section differently this time.
Genesis of Aquarion
The original Genesis of Aquarion was created by Shōji Kawamori, Kunihiko Yuyama, and Satelight. The series ran from April 4th, 2005, to September 26th, 2005, spanning 26 episodes. It was also adapted to manga.
The series follows Apollo, named after the Greek god himself. Beings known as Shadow Angels invaded 12,000 years ago but were stopped by one of their own. That man, Apollonius, fell in love with a female human warrior, Seliane. When the Shadow Angels returned, so too did Apollonius. Well, his pet hound Pollon returned when Apollonius was fused with the titular mecha. Wielding the distinctive mecha Aquarion, he fights to save humanity.
Aquarion Evol
Shōji Kawamori and Satelight continued the story that began in Genesis of Aquarion. This sequel series ran from January 8th, 2012, to June 24th, 2012, and spanned 26 episodes like the original. Just like the original, it also received a manga adaptation.
Set 12,000 years after the end of Genesis of Aquarion, Aquarion Evol follows Apollo’s reincarnation. Well, reincarnations — plural. He was split in two, Amata Sora and Kagura Demuri. The primary reincarnation is Amata Sora, a boy with an anti-gravity ability. When Earth is invaded by the people of planet Altair, he joins the military to defend everyone. Altair suffered a devastating blow to their population after all the women died from a mysterious disease called the Curse of Eve. They plan to recoup their losses by abducting human women using “Abductors” similar to the Shadow Angels of old.
Aquarion Logos
Shōji Kawamori and Satelight return a third time, but they change things quite a bit for this third outing. As far as can be seen, the story isn’t related to the first two entries, and none of the characters are reincarnations of Pollon or Celiane. The series aired from July 2nd, 2015, to December 24th, 2015, and like the others, received 26 episodes with which to tell its tale.
One of the two relations to the previous series (besides a mecha named Aquarion) is that the plot’s lore began 12,000 years ago. In the past, human voices and words could change the world around them. Then people began to use text, which created a “Logos World.”
Sogon Kenzaki, an influential CEO, creates monsters called the MJBK (the Menace of Japanese with Biological Kinetic energy) to bring an end to modern civilization. Akira Kaibuki, as part of the Verbalism Club, works to stop him and save the world.
While the Genesis of Aquarion series has plenty of waifus, you can never have too many in your laifu. The J-List shop caters to that need and presents the Katejina Loos Excellent Model RAHDXG.A.NEO Figure from V Gundam. She’s crazy but hot, so it balances out.
