Often times, hentai anthologies will have a huge variety of characters in them. Big girls with small breasts, short girls with massive butts, and everything in-between. It’s fun to be able to have such a wide selection of beauties to ogle when you read books like these, especially if they’re all drawn well. In Tittylating, you may only be tall women with huge chests, but artist Okumoto Yuta is a master at drawing that kind of girl.
There are 11 chapters and 204 pages to Tittylating, and each one is packed with big-breasted beauties spilling out of their clothes. Okumoto Yuta doesn’t try to draw different kinds of body types or wildly unique looking girls, instead of having each woman in the book rock an identical yet incredibly gorgeous slender frame with huge, pillowy breasts. Their character designs and personalities are at least kept fresh, with chapters featuring everything from ditzy dark-skinned pig-tails wearing girls to serious, glasses-wearing student council presidents. Every character having an identical body perhaps speaks to the strengths and weaknesses of Okumoto Yuta as an artist, but he does a good job of keeping things from getting stale with the solid variety of characters in the book.
It also helps that his art in Tittylating is absolutely incredible. While his art style isn’t incredibly unique, there’s an astounding amount of detail and attention put into each drawing of every girl in the book that makes them really pop out from the page. Collar bones and hips are well defined, and the soft thighs and bodies of each character are drawn incredibly well. Best of all, though, are the breasts. The girls in this book are certainly packing some intense chest weaponry, but there is a natural softness and volume to their boobs that helps prevent them from looking like balloons attached to a stick. They bend slightly against the edges of bras and swimsuits and spill across their bodies as they lay in bed naked or get pushed against the wall. Okumoto Yuta excels at bringing the best out of the women in his works with his gorgeous and incredibly erotic artwork.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any extra illustrations or bonus chapters in Tittylating. There are also few colored illustrations in the volume, with the only 4 full-color pages in the book coming at the beginning of the first chapter, Budding Cool Girl. In this story, Matsuoka is a shy and scatterbrained guy in high-school who seems to always be forgetting something. One day, he forgets his pen during a mock exam, but a beautiful silky-haired girl named Shinomiya lends him a pen. When he thanks her for the pen after their exam and the two talk for a bit, he ends up becoming absolutely smitten with her. The two talk now and then afterward, but a month goes by without him making any kind of romantic progress with her.
One day, at a prep school winter camp, he catches a sly blonde-haired dude from class hitting on Shinomiya. He did it during the exam and got turned down, and just like then, Shinomiya isn’t interested in him. When he decides to put his hands on her, our hero Matsuoka rushes in to stop them…and slips on the ice, landing headfirst and getting knocked out. When he wakes up, he’s in a hospital bed with nobody except Shinomiya watching him at his bedside. He finally decides to confess his feelings to her, and when she accepts them with a kiss, the two spend the evening pouring their passion into each other’s bodies.
This was a really sweet, unique story. The boy meets the girl element of our shy and meek protagonist Matsuoka meeting the cool beauty of Shinomiya is wonderful, but the twist of her backstory adds an interesting layer to things. She used to be bullied and picked on for being fat, and once she lost weight, the cool boys who hated her suddenly changed their tune. It’s a unique detail that helps her and Matsuoka bond, making this one of the more romantic and endearing stories in Tittylating.
The colorwork at the beginning of the story is decent, but not perfect. There’s a weird, oversaturated quality to a lot of the colors used in these pages, with things like Matsuoka’s skin tone and Shinomiya’s underwear almost looking like they were rendered in bright marker. The shadows on her body are softly rendered in fine detail, but the rendering of light on her anatomy is a little less successful, with spots of bounding light seemingly placed randomly across her body. In the end, the coloring of these pages is a lot less impressive than the gorgeous colors on the front cover and back cover illustrations and fails to add anything to the quality of the art in Tittylating.
One of my favorite chapters in Tittylating is The Secret Garden Quartet. This one is all about Matsubara, a short and stacked schoolgirl who’s fooled around with every hunk imaginable at her highschool. She craves something more, though, and soon discovers the Gardening Club. Realizing that it only has two male members and they’re both huge, burly dudes, she joins in an instant hoping to seduce them. Unfortunately for her, they never give any sort of indication of being attracted to her. When the tall and gorgeous club advisor Kashiwagi arrives, our slutty hero decides to head home now that the club members are busy showing sensei their flowers. Matsubara realizes she forgot her wallet at the clubroom, though, and turns around to head back there.
When she arrives, though, she fines Kashiwagi-sensei gripping the thick dicks of the Gardening Club in her dainty hands. The men admit that they’ve been sexually frustrated seeing Matsubara flaunt her body around every day, so Kashiwagi helps them get all their frustrations out. Matsuraba isn’t having it, though, and joins in on the action she joined this dang club for in the first place. I loved the idiotic, sex-focused personality of Matsuraba so much. She’s equal parts manipulative and stupid, and the two clash to create a fun, horny brat that I couldn’t get enough of.
Tittylating is a lengthy volume full of jaw-dropping beauties and big, meaty sexual anatomy. If you’re looking for a variety of different body types to spend an afternoon with, you might be disappointed by the lack of variety in this book. If you’re happy with nothing but slender girls rocking massive breasts, though, then it’s easy to recommend this book to you.
