Are you ready to jack back into the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series? The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit will take you there with dice and art from anime legend Hiroyuki Imaishi (Dead Leaves, Promare, and obviously Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). This is one box set no Studio Trigger or Cyberpunk 2077 fan should pass up.
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit is an all-you-need-to-play tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG). It picks up the story from where the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Netflix series left off. “The Jacket” — the included mission — takes us back to the neon-lit depravity of Night City for some unfinished business. Are you feeling lucky, choomba?
Hiroyuki Imaishi Jacks In
The best part? The seven pre-generated Edgerunner characters included in the box were drawn by Hiroyuki Imaishi, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners‘s anime director! The box also contains three books, totaling 120 pages of lore, game rules, and new rules inspired by the anime. Expect more fun art inside, though we have not seen the product’s credits regarding interior artists yet.
Also inside the box are Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-themed dice, cardboard character standees, maps, and “more.” I’m not a big fan of “more,” unless it’s cake, but we’ll see what R. Talsorian Games, the publisher, offers when the game is released.
If you hate your cyberpunk anime series ending on a cliffhanger, then this could be your chance to pass on those cliffhangers to a table of friends. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit uses the critically acclaimed Cyberpunk RED ruleset, also published by R. Talsorian Games. The box set is produced in collaboration with CD Projekt Red, the makers of Cyberpunk 2077. The game has a set release date in June and a recommended retail price of 35 eddies… ahem… dollars (USD).

Ghost in the Shell was one of the first anime I ever watched, so anime and cyberpunk will always be best buds in my mind. Even Ninja Kamui told its story with neon backlighting. But who did cyberpunk best? I need your recommendations. Drop them in the comments or on social media.
Forget the cardboard standees. Let’s play on the tabletop with Nendoroid figures of every Edgerunner we can find! Now you can hack Lucy’s firmware and add her to your team with the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners — Lucy Nendoroid Figure.
