Compatibility Prologue
As mentioned, Compatibility is a 3-book series about childhood friends forging a sexual relationship together. The prologue book sets the stage for all of the sexual events that occur in books one and two. Accordingly, the prologue book doesn’t have sex scenes; it’s just character development!
The prologue chapter is a touching tale of two childhood friends growing up in the rural countryside in Japan. Small-town vibes can get boring, but you have a well-endowed friend like Reina, so how bad can it be?
The prelude whets the appetite for what’s to come later. This book will be right up your alley if you enjoy character development and emotional investment before the sultry stuff begins.
Compatibility
Compatibility picks up the story right after the prologue book, where Yō and Reina start a new relationship and duly consummate it by having sticky, intimate sex together!
Miyabi-san’s expertise in illustrating the details of the characters is on full display here. Everything from the firmness of Reina’s thighs to the revealing silky creases and wrinkles in her panties is perfectly illustrated. Sweat, steam, and moisture accentuate the heat of their passion while underscoring the suppleness of their bodies, especially on Reina’s lips and breasts.
Compatibility 2
The most recent addition to the series from Miyabi-san begins with Yō reminiscing about his time with Reina as she sleeps beside him. A hug turns into a kiss. A kiss turns into kissing. Kissing turns into fondling. And, since this is a doujinshi, things only get hotter from there.
In a slight departure from Compatibility, Miyabi-san utilizes more lush, vibrant colors here instead of the sepia tones used in the earlier work.
