The production company for the anime adaptation of Norito Asaduki’s Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl revealed promotional material and a January 4 Japanese premiere date. But if, like me, you don’t like waiting because you know that life recedes by the minute, you’re in luck! OceanVeil announced that they’ll release the anime’s first episode on December 12. And before you ask, yes, my fellow degenerates, it will be uncensored!!! But we’ll only get an advance on the first episode; after that, we’ll have to wait for the simulcast.
Studio LEO, known for their work on Dekichau made Kon, will animate Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl’s adaptation. Arisugawa Ren tte Honto wa Onna Nanda yo ne‘s announced production cast includes:

Imagine being so down bad that you use your familiar ties in the hope you’ll get laid. Cringe, isn’t it? Well, that cringiness is Kyohei Arisugawa’s life. The university student always brings up the fact that the megastar, Ren Arisugawa, is his cousin. But the fact does little for Kyo’s sex life. Even if it did, the two have been estranged since childhood, so it’s a familiar relationship that survives only in name.
But to Kyo’s surprise, one night he finds his estranged celebrity cousin waiting for him outside of his apartment. Instantly deciding that old times haven’t changed, Kyo tries to choke the pocket rocket in front of Ren. That bold decision leads Kyo to realize that the famous Ren Arisugawa Is Actually a Girl!
