The heroes have taken a few shots to the jaw. The Monster Association has made them look weak and vulnerable. A monster kidnapped an executive’s child and then infiltrated the executive boardroom just to brag about it. Things look grim right now. However, a hero never gives up. The heroes are rallying, and the strongest among them is just finishing up a video game level. We’ll see the heroes and monsters wage war when One-Punch Man Season 3 premieres on October 5th, 2025.
One and Yusuke Murata released the original One-Punch Man manga series on June 14th, 2012. Shueisha has since published 35 volumes in Tonari no Young Jump. Madhouse’s anime adaptation premiered on October 5th, 2015.
One-Punch Man Cast
The strongest hero and the two strongest espers are as follows:
- Saitama — Makoto Furukawa (Rider of Red/Achilles from Fate/Apocrypha). A kind person who, for fun, trained incredibly hard to become a hero.
- Tatsumaki — Aoi Yuki (Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners). The older Esper Sister is one of the world’s most powerful psychics.
- Fubuki — Saori Hayami (Yor Forger from Spy × Family). The younger Esper Sister and leader of the Blizzard Group.

Heroes and Monsters Clash in One-Punch Man
Saitama quietly goes about his favorite hobby: saving the world. He’s a hero for fun. Despite his humble status, he’s actually the strongest hero around. Saitama is capable of toppling his foes in a single punch. No matter how large, fast, or powerful, they all go down in one punch, man. He lingered in relative obscurity until the call of fame drew him to the Hero Association with his new apprentice, the cyborg Genos.
The monsters that the heroes once fought and slew with relative ease have since gathered to form their own association. They all bow to the almighty Monster King Orochi, a being of immeasurable power. They have declared war on humanity and have exposed various weaknesses in humanity’s self-professed guardians. The heroes must now rise as one to defeat the Monster Association before monsters usurp humans as the dominant species on Earth.
