She continues her maid training while enjoying the local delicacies. We’ll see how her fine dining and training go when The Food Diary of Miss Maid (Maid-san wa Taberu dake) premieres sometime in 2026.

The Food Diary of Miss Maid, a Tasty Read
Suzume Tachibana is a maid-in-training who lives and works in England. Her brief trip back to Japan to visit her grandmother has been unexpectedly extended. Her employer’s mansion suddenly collapsed. No one was harmed, but it will still take a year to rebuild. Suzume is forced to stay in Japan, well away from her friends and employers, until the mansion is restored. What’s she to do besides take in the local cuisine?

Suzume spends her time professionally maintaining her apartment and preparing her meals like a good and proper maid. Her main interests are trying new Japanese meals and referencing a guidebook to determine the good and proper way to eat her meals. Her cute antics even make her neighbor, Nana Komatsu, laugh. Suzume will make the most of her year abroad until her employer’s mansion is rebuilt.
