A high-ranking adventurer has taken up residence in a poor village. He appreciates the quiet and relaxed atmosphere while helping the kind villagers. His normal, everyday life turns upside down after he encounters an orphan girl in the local dungeon. Though she seems weak and eager to prove her worth, the secrets she holds inside prove to be troublesome. We’ll see how the adventurer and his new comrade handle her changes when The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer (29-sai Dokushin Chuken Bokensha no Nichijo) premieres sometime in January 2026.
Ippei Nara released the original The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer manga series on January 9th, 2016. Kodansha has published twenty volumes in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine afterward.
The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer Cast
The 29-year-old adventurer, his new companion, and his old companion are as follows:
- Hajime Shinonome — Makoto Furukawa (Rider of Red/Achilles from Fate/Apocrypha). Hajime is a Silver-rank adventurer who settles into an easy life in a peaceful village.
- Rirui — Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika Ijichi from Bocchi the Rock!). Rirui is a special girl whose parents abandoned her.
- Veronica Valley — Shizuka Ito (Kai Harn in Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-). Hajime’s succubus friend is a firm-handed mistress.

The Daily Life of a Single 29-Year-Old Adventurer Takes on a New Companion
Hajime Shinonome was once an orphan who just barely survived on the streets. He fought tooth and nail for every meal. Hajime would go on to rise above the slums as a seasoned adventurer with a full stomach and a spring in his step. His most recent adventure took him to a poor village that struggled to get by. Seeing himself as just a single Silver-Ranked adventurer in his 29th year, he took up residence to lend a helping hand.
Hajime’s last trip into the local dungeon to collect meat ends when he finds a slime monster about to swallow a little girl. Like Hajime, Rurui’s parents abandoned her, forcing her to become an adventurer to support herself. He soon discovers that she is an “ancient-type” person, a being with supernatural characteristics. Rirui briefly turned into a curvaceous adult when she awoke the following day.
