The world of Pokémon has not yet given up all its secrets. The remnant Rising Volt Tacklers continue their adventures by heading to a famous academy to research a specific phenomenon. Trainers who played through “The Indigo Disk” DLC from Pokémon Scarlet/Violet will get a fresh take on those events. We’ll see Liko and Roy Volt Tackle their way through the academy when the new Pokémon Horizons arc Rising Again premieres on October 31st, 2025. Satoshi Tajiri collaborated with Tsunekazu Ishihara and Junichi Masuda to create the original Pokémon games, which debuted on February 27th, 1996. Saori Den and OLM’s Pokémon Horizons premiered on April 14th, 2023.
Pokémon Horizons Rising Again Cast
Two leading Pokémon trainers and a BB Elite Four member are as follows:
- Liko — Minori Suzuki (Agnes Digital from Uma Musume Pretty Derby). A Pokémon Trainer from Cabo Poco. She chose the Grass starter.
- Roy — Yuka Terasaki (Luca from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s). A Pokémon Trainer from an unnamed island. He chose the Fire starter.
- Lacey — Seiran Kobayashi (Eri from My Hero Academia). A member of the BB Elite Four. She specializes in Fairy-type Pokémon.

Pokémon Horizons Rising Again Studies the Terastal Phenomenon
Liko and Roy are bright-eyed and eager to start their Pokémon journey. Liko wishes to understand Pokémon on a deeper level. While Roy aspires to become a great Pokémon trainer, just like his hero. A series of misadventures leads them to Friede, Captain Pikachu, and the Rising Volt Tacklers. They joined his group and confronted the evil organization known as the Explorers.
In the wake of their last battle against the Explorers, Liko and Roy blaze a trail to Unova’s Blueberry Academy. This academy boasts a large, city-sized underground biome. It’s here that they’ll take on the Blueberry League and research the mysterious Terastal Phenomenon. Adventures are fun, but the Explorers were making moves to take over the world, and the Rising Volt Tacklers needed to reunite and become stronger to stop them.
