Oomuro-ke dear sisters is a spinoff of the wildly popular YuruYuri series. Though the main series focuses on the many fun Amusement Club members, this spinoff lets the Oomuro sisters take center stage. Their daily lives will be as exciting as the Amusement Club activities themselves. We’ll see what sort of antics these sisters get up to when the first movie Oomuro-ke dear sisters premieres on February 2nd, 2024. Oomuro-ke dear friends, the second movie in the series, will debut before the end of 2024. Fans can enjoy the opening lyric video and the first and second trailers until then.
Namori first released his YuruYuri series on June 18th, 2008. Ichijinsha has since released 22 volumes at Comic Yuri Hime S and Comic Yuri Hime.
Our new favorite sisters are as follows:
- Nadeshiko Oomuro — Chiwa Saito (Charlotte Flampe from One Piece). The eldest Oomuro sister is eighteen years old. Nadeshiko is an intelligent and responsible girl. She’s currently dating one of her friends.
- Sakurako Oomuro — Emiri Kato (Becky Blackbell from Spy x Family). The middle Oomuro sister is thirteen years old. Sakurako is sensitive about her petite figure. Despite her resistance to performing actual school work, she is a candidate for the position of Student Council vice president next year.
- Hanako Oomuro — Rina Hidaka (Filo from The Rising of the Shield Hero). The youngest Oomuro sister is eight years old. Though she acts very mature for her age, Hanako still has a childish side to her.

Oomuro-ke dear sisters Celebrates Daily Family Life
Oomuro-ke dear sisters spends time with the sisters outside of fun club activities. The movies will showcase the daily lives of the Oomuro sisters, Hanako, Sakurako, and Nadeshiko. Their friends — such as the Furutani sisters and their classmates — will also have screen time in these movies. The “trials and tribulations” these sisters will contend with won’t be easy. Sakurako is accused of eating Nadeshiko’s limited edition ice cream after all. Then there’s the time that Kaede trips and accidentally marks Hanako’s upper lip with makeup that looks like a mustache. These girls will have their work cut out for them.
