Wakana runs the Kinme Cleaning shop. People praise her laundry service for its fast, efficient work. Her kind and charming personality doesn’t hurt either. Wakana works to preserve clothes so that their owners can treasure the memories they made while wearing them. Perhaps this wish is born of envy, since she has no memories of her own to treasure. We’ll see her get to work when Wash It All Away (Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka) premieres on January 5th, 2026.
Mitsuru Hattori released the original Wash It All Away manga series between July 7th, 2017, and June 2nd, 2023. Square Enix has since published all ten volumes in Young Gangan.

- Nairo Katakuchi — Konomi Inagaki (Copano Rickey from Uma Musume Pretty Derby). Nairo runs into Wakana while visiting her grandmother.

Wash It All Away and Keep Your Treasures Safe
Wakana Kinme is a highly skilled and charming clothes washer. She runs Kinme Cleaning, a small tailor shop in Atami with a steady stream of customers. Her pickup and delivery services make her a hit with customers, especially senior citizens. Wakana is happy to clean clothes and help others, even though she doesn’t remember how she learned the tools of her trade.

Wakana lost her memories around two years ago. All she has left to her name is, well, her name and the shop bearing it. However, she doesn’t let it get her down. Wakana’s especially fond of cleaning to the point where she’ll mend a customer’s shoe on the spot, then apologize and not charge him because he never asked for the service. The people around her brighten her day whenever they stop by to chat and obtain her cleaning services.
