During the Kanojo mo Kanojo (Girlfriend and Girlfriend) stage event at AnimeJapan 2021, it was revealed that the anime series is scheduled to air on July 2021. Along with the announcement a promotional video was revealed, which included the animation staff, the main character cast and a new visual key.
Hiroyuki’s “neo-romantic comedy” manga, Kanojo mo Kanojo was launched in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine last March, and Kodansha Comics will be releasing the manga digitally starting April 6. Hiroyuki is also the author of the comedic manga series, Aho Girl, which received an anime series on July 4, 2017 to September 19, 2017, and the manga is being released by Kodansha Comics in English.
The animation staff consists of:
