Set to premiere on Japanese airwaves on July 22nd, the new season is titled Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV New Arc: Labyrinth and, as the promotional video indicated, will feature new characters and challenges!
For the most part, the cast and crew stay the same as in previous seasons. Studio J.C. Staff is back to produce the animation with Hideki Tachibana serving as director. Hideki Shirane and original author Fujino Ōmori will be handling script supervision, Shigeki Kimoto is providing the character designs, and Keiji Inai will again compose the background music.
Originally a light novel series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon has been running strong since January 2013 with seventeen volumes in print in Japan as of April 2021. In the fantasy action series, the main character is a young adventurer named Bell who, along with the goddess Hestia, strives to improve himself. Over the course of three television seasons and a movie, Bell has faced numerous challenges but always keeps a smile on his face.
