He’ll need to be with the advent of a grand race that spans the entire United States. It may not be wacky, but it packs plenty of action and existential threats. We’ll see how fast Johnny can go when JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Steel Ball Run premieres sometime in 2026.

The Steel Ball Run Race Begins!
Steven Steele and President Funny Valentine organized the massive titular race that runs between San Diego and New York City, USA. Whereas Steven just wanted to hold a fun race that would earn him a ton of money and fame, the president had other ideas. He seeks the body parts of a Saint that would grant him immeasurable power. The race begins on September 25th, 1890, and everyone has gathered.

Johnny Joestar was once a great jockey until a bullet struck his spine and left his lower half paralyzed. Despite that, he ventured to San Diego to see the race begin. He watched in awe as a mysterious rider named Gyro used a steel ball to dispatch an opponent. Touching that steel ball miraculously restored Johnny’s legs. He caught up to Gyro and asked to learn the secrets that he possessed.
